What began as a practical joke is now one of Pratt's most unique features. The towers have appeared in nationwide publications and many visitors are seen stopping for a humorous double-take or photograph. The original towers were built in 1901 and 1909. The "hot" and "cold" were added in 1956. The flowers and garden beneath the two towers are provided and maintained by Centennial EHU. A memorial bench has been placed beneath the towers so that people can sit and enjoy the beautiful flowers. The bench is in memory or Charles & Rosella Heflin, who was a member of Centennial EHU.
