Deemed the Gateway to the High Plains, the area is a rolling plain of green grassland, broken by the Ninnescah River and the hills along Elm and Turkey creeks.

Pratt, KS is strategically located in south central Kansas on U.S. Highways 54, 281, and K 61. The location offers many advantages- small town charm, yet the proximity to the cities when needed. Pratt is approximately one hour from a major airport and interstate highway.

Agriculture and railroad have helped form the community into the regional trade center it is today, providing us with a proud past and rich history. A regional medical center, community college, outstanding educational system, a resurgence in the oil and gas industry, manufacturing base, diverse shopping, and expanding technology infrastructure provide opportunities and strength to our community.

New housing, as well as finer older homes, are available in Pratt. We have five real estate companies with which to work. A professional moving company is located in Pratt to help with relocation needs. Neighborhood revitalization is in place, offering tax rebate incentives on both residential and commercial construction.
